Grilled Peaches with Bourbon Activated Pecans
Ingredients:
- 6 Whole Peaches
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 2 Tablespoons Honey
- 3 Tablespoons Bourbon
- ½ Cup Bourbon Activated Native Texas Pecans
- (Optional) Vanilla Ice Cream/Whipped Cream
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, add the butter, honey, and bourbon. Stir and cook until melted. Set aside.
- Halve the peaches and remove the stones.
- Brush each peach generously with the honey bourbon sauce (reserving about ¼ for serving) and allow the peaches to soak in the sauce for at least 1 hour.
- While the peaches soak, roughly chop the Bourbon Activated Native Texas Pecans. Set aside.
- When ready to cook, set the grill to high to preheat.
- Once temperature is reached, place the peaches cut side down and cook until grill marks are achieved.
- Remove from the grill and top with (optionally) a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, a drizzle of the reserved honey bourbon sauce, and the chopped Bourbon Activated Native Texas Pecans.
- Serve Immediately!
