Bourbon Activated Pecan Deviled Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 6  hard boiled eggs

  • 2 Tbsp mayo

  • 2 Tbsp (or more to taste) coarse mustard of your choice (sweet & smoky recommended) 

  • 2 Tbsp chives, minced

  • ½ tsp kosher salt

  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ⅓  cup Bourbon Activated Native Texas Pecans, chopped


Instructions 

  • Bring 6 eggs to a boil and cook until hard-boiled (approx. 13 minutes) 

  • Slice hard boiled eggs in half and remove yolks to a small bowl. 

  • Add mayo, mustard, chives, salt and pepper, and ¾ of the chopped activated pecans to the yolks and mix together with a fork. Adjust seasonings to taste.

  • Spoon yolk mixture back into egg whites.

  • Top with remaining pecan pieces and serve.

  • *For added crunch, serve with small cornichons*
