Ingredients
- 10 Small/Medium Figs
- ¼ cup Bourbon Activated Native Texas Pecans
- 2 oz Goat Cheese
- Salt and Pepper
- (Optionally) Thyme or Rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut off the stems and make an X ¾ of the way through each fig.
- Chop the Bourbon Activated Native Texas Pecans and add them to a bowl, along with the goat cheese and thoroughly combine.
- Using a small teaspoon, stuff the figs with the pecan/goat cheese filling.
- Add stuffed figs to a baking dish.
- Drizzle with honey and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake for 5 minutes at 400 degrees until soft and juicy, then broil on high for 2 minutes.
- Top with additional chopped Bourbon Activated Native Texas Pecans and a sprig of fresh rosemary or thyme if you wish.
- Serve on a cheese board or paired with a glass of wine for your perfect fall evening!
